Guide: Robert Mueller’s All-Democrat Special Prosecution Team

Robert Swan Mueller’s special prosecution team was long ago exposed as nothing but deep state operation with one mission: Impeach President Trump.

Even the spine-free losers in the Republican establishment, who praised Mueller as someone beyond reproach, are starting to realize he’s nothing but a lowlife sleazeball.

Here’s a look at Mueller’s team, who all have one thing in common. They’re Democrats.


Party Affiliation: Democrat (Registered)

Deputy Solicitor General for the Obama administration.

Mentor of Eric Holder. Worked under Elena Kagan.

Neal Katyal: “Michael Dreeben is to criminal law what Robert Mueller is to investigations. Literally the very best. Yet another sign of how serious Mueller is about this matter.” Now a partner at Hogan Lovells, Katyal has been a key figure in challenging President Donald Trump’s travel ban.

Justice Elena Kagan, who worked with Dreeben as solicitor general before joining the high court, said she felt honored “in the company of a magnificent attorney doing a magnificent job.”

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that when Dreeben approaches the lectern at the Supreme Court, “I know he will tell it straight.”

Donated to President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, and to the Democratic National Committee.

Attended 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s election night party.

Sent an email to outgoing Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, praising her for refusing to enforce the first iteration of Trump’s travel ban.

“I am so proud and in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respect,” Weissmann’s email read.

Emily Pierce, a former DOJ spokeswoman under the Obama administration: “As a fraud and foreign bribery expert, he knows how to follow the money. Who knows what they will find, but if there is something to be found, he will find it.”

Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Obama Administration. Worked under Eric Holder.

Represented Hillary Clinton in a 2015 lawsuit that sought access to her private emails.

Represented the Clinton Foundation in a 2015 racketeering lawsuit.

Also represented ex-Obama National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes in same lawsuit.

Donated to Democrats since 2008, including Obama in 2008 and 2012. Maxed out her donations both in 2015 and 2016 to Clinton’s presidential campaign, giving a total of $5,400.


Party Affiliation: Democrat (Registered)

Longtime Democrat lawyer, who worked on the Watergate prosecution.

Donated thousands over the past 35 years exclusively to Democrats, including maxing out to Obama in 2012, and Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Quarles curiously sent one $2,500 donation to Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz during the Hillary Clinton Email scandal. Some surmise this was an attempted payoff.

Richard Ben-Veniste, a Clinton White House lawyer, and Watergate colleague: “There is nothing comparable to the kind of pressure and obligation that this kind of job puts on your shoulders. Having been there before gives [Quarles] the confidence to know how to do it and how to do it right.”

Hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign to represent Justin Cooper, the IT staffer who set up Clinton’s private email server and later destroyed her Blackberry phones with a hammer.

Robert Novick, co-managing partner of WilmerHale, former General Counsel Clinton Administration: “Aaron’s experience at the Bureau, Main Justice, and the US Attorney’s Office will add to the internal investigations, crisis management, and cybersecurity capabilities.”

Between 2010 and 2012, Andres worked under Holder at the DOJ as a deputy assistant attorney general.

Married to Ronnie Abrams, a U.S. district judge in Manhattan nominated to the bench in 2011 by President Obama.

Donated $2,700 to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-N.Y.) campaign in March 2017. Wife donated to Obama.

Republican Congressman Steve Chabot: “First, Greg Andres gave $1000 dollars to the Democrat running to hold the seat, the Senate seat previously held by Barack Obama. He gave $2600 dollars to Democrat Senator Gillibrand, who just this week led the charge of Democratic Senators demanding that President Trump resign. And, oh yeah, Mr. Andres gave zero to the Trump campaign or to any Republican for that matter.”

Worked under Loretta Lynch as assistant US attorney in the Eastern District of New York.

When Lynch was named Attorney General by Obama, she brought recruited Ahmad to Washington in “Main Justice” as one of her top proteges.

Ahmad left the DOJ during the President Trump’s transition.

Her stellar reputation among prosecutors at the Eastern District of New York was bound to attract the attention of Washington. And when her boss Loretta Lynch took over as the attorney general, she sent for Ahmad to the head office.

Last year, former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch recruited Ahmad to work at the Justice Department in Washington.

Worked in Obama’s Department of Justice as assistant US attorney in Maryland.

Also worked for the Obama State Department.

Blogged for the Huffington Post, where he admits to being a partisan Democrat: “I’m a Democrat, but here’s some free advice to Republicans: starting right now, get off the “traditional marriage” bus as fast as you can. If today’s election showed anything, it’s that the demographic tide is turning against you. Big time.”

Harold Koh, Legal Adviser of the Department of State under President Obama: “He is a professional, non-partisan straight shooter… He is an outstanding and fair-minded young prosecutor who will follow the facts and law where they lead. You can count on him to conduct any investigation based on law, not politics.”

Worked in the Obama DOJ where she drew criticism as one of the lawyers defending the administration from a lawsuit that challenged one of Obama’s executive actions on immigration. US District Court Judge Andrew Hanen had accused Freeny and her colleagues of misleading him by incorrectly indicating that none of the changes ordered by Obama had taken effect.

Freeny donated to each of Obama’s presidential campaigns (2008 and 2012), and to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

US Attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York, where he worked under Preet Bharara, the Democrat prosecutor who has been a partisan critic of President Trump.

Prelogar clerked for Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.

Prelogar donated to the 2012 Obama campaign and to the 2016 Clinton campaign.

Former Obama Solicitor General Donald Gerrilli, who hired Prelogar in 2014: “Like Michael Dreeben, she is a person of superb intellect and deep integrity. She can be counted on to call it as she sees it.”

Worked under the Obama administration in the US Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Van Grack donated to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Josh Geltzer, who worked as a Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council staff under President Obama: “It would absolutely make sense that a small team like this would want him at their core because of how impossible it is not to get along with Brandon.”

Worked in the Justice Department’s civil division during the Obama administration.

Lead attorney fighting the Sisters of the Poor over Obamacare and birth control.

Former clerk to liberal Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. Donated to local and state Democrats.

Adam Jed of the Department of Justice argued that the government has done enough to accommodate the Sisters of the Poors. He said that not requiring some sort of action by the groups would force the government to act as a “detective agency” to determine why any employer is not covering the contraceptives. “We disagree that the act of opting out constitutes a substantial burden on their [Sisters of the Poor] religious belief,” Jed said.

Worked in the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section at the Department of Justice under Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder.

Atkinson left DOJ when Trump administration took over.

Donated to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016.

Worked at Justice Department’s Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section since 2014 under under Obama and Lynch. Prior to this move, worked in the Eastern District of Virginia as Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Dickey made news when he used heavy-handed and dubious tactics in going after Kim Dotcom.

Asonye worked as an Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia during Obama Administration. He joined Mueller’s team in May 2018 to serve as the local counsel in Manafort’s trial.

Asonye donated to Hillary Clinton Campaign in 2008.

Straight out of Harvard three years ago, Alpino joined the Obama Administration in the Justice Department in the Counterintelligence and Export Control Section of the National Security Division.

Alpino was a recipient of the Heyman Fellowship Program at Harvard, given exclusively to students who commit to a career in the federal government, i.e. Democrats.

Worked at Justice Department headquarters since 2013 as the top spokesman for the Criminal Division under Obama, Holder, and Lynch.

Carr was the infamous spox who covered up, and lied about, the Lynch and Bill Clinton tarmac meeting.

DOJ trial attorney in the FBI’s Criminal Division Organized Crime Section; formerly an attorney in the office of the FBI general. Teamed with Peter Strzok and Andy McCabe to frame incoming POTUS Trump.



Party Affiliation: Registered Democrat

A veteran counterintelligence investigator. He departed from the team in late July 2017, reportedly for exchanging anti-Trump text messages with Page.
