According to the Daily Caller, Randy Lowry, the president of Lipscomb University in Tennessee, posted an apology to Facebook for the sin of having centerpieces of cotton stalks in his home while hosting black students.

The president reported that multiple students confided in him about the cotton decoration displayed during a Thursday dinner he hosted at his home for black students to share their experiences at Lipscomb with him.
